Loddings Lane Boat Ramp is located at the popular skiing, rowing and fishing destination, Nagambie Lakes.
Located on the Goulburn River, the project required robust environmental controls as well as cultural heritage training and surveillance.
Considerable unforeseen geotechnical issues were encountered on the project which required redesign of the substructure and deck. Our team worked collaboratively with our client, Strathbogie Shire Council, and the engineering design team to come up with a solution and engaged the services of a specialty pile driving contractor.
Whilst the project finish date was delayed due to the unforeseen issues, environmental controls were maintained throughout and the boat ramp is now open for business!
