The Balaclava Road / Verney Road / New Dookie Road / Hawdon Street intersection was upgraded from a roundabout to a signalised intersection to reduce congestion and improve safety.
The pre- start planning for the project has required significant consultation with stakeholders including Greater Shepparton City Council, Regional Roads Victoria, three schools, school bus operators and business owners to ensure that safe and accessible routes are maintained for users throughout.
The project was undertaken using lane closures to manage traffic. Our team worked collaboratively with stakeholders to minimise impacts throughout the project.
The works were overseen by Greater Shepparton City Council and RRV.
