Streetscape revitalisation project between Vaughan & High Street Shepparton.
The upgrade encompassed building line to building line renewal of drainage, lighting, pavements from Vaughan Street through to High Street. The project included the upgrade of the Vaughan/Maude Street intersection from a roundabout to a signalised intersection.
The prestart planning for this project required significant consultation with stakeholders including Greater Shepparton City Council, CFA Shepparton, town bus operators and business owners to ensure safe accessible routes were maintained for users throughout.
Custom finishes on this project included construction of rain gardens, custom kerb profile and concrete finishes as well as decorative pavers and furniture, tree cells, pedestrian lighting and landscaping to enhance the liveability and ambience of the area adjoining the City’s Maude Street Mall.
The project commenced in February 2021 and was completed in September 2021.
